This transport management software was developed for companies transporting goods across India. The client provides the Lorry Receipt, while the carrier needs the pickup location. The administration team determines who pays for transport. DropProof keeps booking details organized in one place for fleet managers and transporters.
The user enters the order, creates the Lorry Receipt or Goods Receipt, and tracks freight in transit through delivery. If a shipment changes or returns to its origin, the details remain linked to the original entry to avoid duplicate documentation.
For a Jaipur handicraft or textile consignment, a package count needs to stay attached to the right customer order. This becomes important when several dealer bookings leave together. Record the goods, collection points, and receiving instructions before combining a city market round with work in Sitapura or Sanganer.
The system provides linked booking records and defines payment terms for freight. It offers visibility for the cargo from the starting point to the final destination. The journey of a shipment is a single continuous process.

Transport Management Solutions in Jaipur
Bookings, documents & shipment control
Everything a transport booking needs, from LR / GR to returns
To manage operations, the software stores orders alongside shipment specifics. It produces legible consignment receipts. The system tracks the number of items, their weight and their physical measurements. There are tools to organize Less than Truckload, Full Truckload and consolidated cargo movements. In addition the software monitors the location of goods. It manages instances where drivers return items to the origin or when customers cancel orders. Those transport management solutions facilitate logistics operations through the control of bookings and documents.
The software contains eleven capabilities that manage the initial booking and the subsequent actions if a shipment changes, undergoes cancellation or encounters delivery failure.

Generate transport receipts and consignment documents.
The system generates transport receipts and consignment documents using the recorded sender, receiver and goods. Users should not need to collect data from previous messages when a client requests the Lorry Receipt. The system prepares the consignment note, Lorry Receipt (LR) or Goods Receipt (GR) directly from the booking data. The sender, the receiver, the inventory, the route and the freight costs are present on this single record.

Track shipments from origin to destination.
The software tracks cargo from the point of origin to the final destination. It shows if the freight has departed from the pickup location or remains stationary. The employee can follow a shipment through the stages of booking, pickup, transit and delivery. By referring to the recorded status, the employee provides information when a client calls. It is necessary to verify the timestamp of the last update before the employee states an arrival time.

Customer details stay connected
Manage customer orders associated with shipments.
The system manages the instructions from clients that are associated with specific shipments. An order identifies the requirements of the client, while a shipment identifies the method of transport. To ensure accuracy, the software links those two records so the booking desk identifies the correct movement via an order reference number. This connection is essential when several customer orders are being handled at once.

Ten cartons is a start, but the loading team also needs to know what is inside and how much space the cartons take. Record item descriptions, quantities, package count, weight, and dimensions before preparing the transport documents. Check the measurements rather than carrying forward a rough estimate.

Multiple stops, one movement
Manage multiple pickup and delivery locations.
The address for billing is often different from the location where workers receive goods. You add every point for pickup and delivery, the specific employee to contact and the directions for receiving cargo. For a shipment that includes multiple stops, the user keeps the complete list of locations within the booking record. By doing this the user avoids sending separate messages with addresses to drivers.

Also supports Third-Party Billing
Set Prepaid, To Pay, Credit, and Third-Party Billing terms.
The parties decide who pays the cost before the vehicle departs. Prepaid is the term when the customer pays for freight at the time of booking. To Pay is the term when the payment is required at the final destination. The user selects Credit for accounts with agreed payment intervals. Third-Party Billing is the term for when the user bills an outside entity. Recording the specific term ensures that the booking clerks and receiving clerks see identical information regarding payment.

Shipment Consolidation

Individual references stay traceable
Combine shipments into loads or consolidated movements.
Several small bookings often fit inside a single vehicle but those bookings belong to different clients. The user groups suitable shipments into one load. In this process the shipments retain their unique identification numbers. The user reviews the destinations and the types of goods before the grouping occurs. A shared route does not mean that every shipment is compatible to travel with others.

Shared space or a full vehicle load
Manage LTL/FTL and partial or full vehicle loads.
Does this booking need a full vehicle, or only part of one? Mark it as less-than-truckload (LTL) or full truckload (FTL) when arranging transport. The load type helps the desk distinguish shared-space work from a full vehicle allocation when reviewing bookings and planning the next dispatch.

Cancelled work stays identifiable
Cancel bookings and record cancellation charges.
A cancelled job should not remain on the active dispatch screen. Cancel the booking and record any cancellation charges against it. Keep the original reference so that the office can explain what is cancelled and differentiate this from work waiting for a vehicle.

Amendment audit trail
Modify shipment details with an audit trail.
Customers modify quantities, addresses, and instructions after booking. Amend the shipment record and keep an audit trail rather than replacing the only copy. Anyone else working on the booking will be able to see what changed without parsing through messages to reconstruct the conversation.

Follow the return movement
Manage failed deliveries and return movements.
If the recipient is unable to accept the goods, put in the reason and then proceed to decide. Either re-book or return to origin (RTO) as per the terms of transportation for that particular shipment. Follow the return status for the original booking; a failed delivery does not necessarily end the transport job.
TMS Made Easy in Simple Words
What is transport management software?
OrdersTransportDelivery
Bookings, movements, and records together
One of the most obvious examples of a transport management system, TMS, is a piece of software used for planning and monitoring the movement of goods. It's like a booking office that manages a reservation from the initial booking to the final delivery. It requires information on products, transportation documentation, contracts of carriage and the status of the load.
Without that connection, orders live in spreadsheets, addresses are in messages, and delivery confirmations may be elsewhere. The problem is not just scattered paperwork; it is the time spent checking which version is correct when a client asks a question.
DropProof includes all transport bookings, LR/GR paperwork, part and full loads, consolidation and the post-booking changes. Route planning, tracking and proof of delivery are there to support the actual movement. If relevant, you'll also want to get separate advice on customs processing, vehicle maintenance and specialist accounting to make sure DropProof covers what you need.
Built around your delivery day
Transport management software in Jaipur
Use the example alongside this guide as a starting point, not a ready-made route. Bring a recent booking from your own desk: the actual pickup, package count, receiving time, and freight term. Work through what would happen if the receiver changed the address or could not take the goods.
That exercise tells you more than a city name on a software page. Check whether the dispatcher can find the right record, whether the driver has enough instructions, and how the office would follow up on an incomplete handover.
Example operating areas: Sitapura, Sanganer, Vishwakarma Industrial Area, and city retail markets. These are planning examples, not claims of local offices or guaranteed service coverage.
From planning to proof
The everyday tools driving a clearer transport operation
Plan feasible routes for delivery
Begin with the stops and their windows. Organize them into a round, then hand it to the dispatcher for review before it is assigned. The route still needs to be checked for the loading and access information your team understands.
Don't send multiple versions of stop lists for the drivers throughout the day. You are better served to provide each driver with one stop list and make adjustments when they come through the office if necessary. Confirm what each driver is working from.
Review the stored progress prior to requesting an update. It may help the desk see a late stop and determine who to call. Read it with the last update time: a late location update does not imply the vehicle has stopped.
A completed status is more valuable when the handover record is readily accessible. Record supported images, signatures, or OTP confirmation and keep this proof with the order. The office will have something concrete to verify if a receiver calls at a later time.

Who can use TMS software in Jaipur?
You may be a booking agent arranging trucks, a wholesaler sending stock to shops, or a small courier desk handling daily rounds. The common need is a dependable answer when someone asks about a consignment. What was booked? Who is moving it? Was it handed over, and where is the record?
Start where the repeated calls are. If the desk spends its afternoon finding delivery slips, try the delivery-record workflow first. If assignments keep changing in chat, begin with dispatch. There is little value in introducing every screen at once if the team has not settled into the first part.
A polished demo is useful, but ask to see an awkward booking too. Try an address change or a receiver who refuses part of the load. Before choosing a provider, ask:
Can we plan our usual delivery round and change a driver assignment?
What will the driver see, and which devices and permissions are needed?
How are failed attempts and delivery evidence recorded?
Which existing order systems can connect, and what setup is needed?
What does pricing include, and how can we access our records?
Before the trial, note how long coordination takes and how often delivery records are missing. Check those same things afterwards. Results will depend on your routes, people, and data; there is no fixed saving to promise.
Start with one route, then build from there
One routeReviewExpand
Trial → Learn → Improve
Choose a round the dispatcher and driver already know. Prepare the order list, check phone access, and decide what evidence you need for a completed handover. Also try a failed stop before the first working day. It is better to discover a missing instruction in a short walkthrough than with a vehicle waiting at a customer's gate.
After the round, open the records together. Can the office account for every order? Which stops needed an extra call, and why? Ask the driver what was unclear, then fix the order details or instructions before the next run. Add another area or driver once that first round works reliably for the people using it.
